Mark's a weird preacher doing some of the strangest rock preaching I've come across! Very different & very cool! and much better then the manic street preachers ever were! and reminds me a bit of the Velvet Underground amongst others! Mark, your music deserves to be heard! http://mp3.com/stations/supermenofmp3com

Mark, I just wanted to tell you that I bought 'US Kids' back when you were in the LifeSavors and I saw you play at a roller skating rink in Phoenix Arizona way back when. I got one of your Japanese demo tapes after you left LifeSavors (and they started to suck). Anyway, it's good to see you still around. Us Kids still rules. Thanks. Tim

I consider myself a spiritual person...that being said, this song is a bit eerie and harsh to my ears. Good sound quality though, probally one of the best I've heard since reviewing. Strong message but the music makes it hard to focus on... 6th time listening to this song... diggin for meaning. I give you a 7 out of folk for your interesting and mysterious song. lild

From: PeterP (noXqs) peterp@cyberdude.com Well I made an exception now to get someone in my charts ! :-) I love the way you work - and I love the sound you create ! Soft whispering vocals on a nice distorted guitar and the drum loops are sometimes really cool and original. Think you are a religious kind of person that loves old movies cause I heard the word "God" a few times and the samples are always from some old movies :) Well to be honest - you sound like a mix in between Sisters of Mercy (Drum and guitar play) and the vocals remind me a bit of Lou Reed in the Velvet Underground. One slight remark anyway - it's great what you do all the time- but it get's kind of the same thing after a while - put a sample in the beginning- start the drum and then fall in with guitar and singing... Try next time to get it in another order - why don't you just start of with a strong guitar riff and make a break with a nice sample - trust me it works :) The only exception on this is "Beenther". I've pickud out one song I loved the most - it's "Watchu" Welcome to my PeterPPPP - Top :) http://noXqs.iuma.com

From: ledroid Subject: review from the critics corner... Reviewed - whoisurgod Gotta agree with AT about the whispering kind of message. You also definitely have the edge on keeping the listener off balance with the lengthy intros and outros of film soundtrack audio and other odds and ends. Hahaha, I loved the "whatevvah!" at the end. Better production values would help a bit, but it may just be an equipment limitation. Not sure it is my cup of tea, but it was entertaining. Score 7 on a scale of 1-10 Keep up the good work! Check out http://www.ledroid.com/Audio/Misery/mp3 if you have time. I would like some feedback on it.

I'm in the process of listening to some of your stuff right now. Very original style (at least I've never heard anything like it). I like it a lot. I'm gonna check out your suggested station after I listen to a couple others of yours!! Thanks & keep in touch, Jeff

You sound very adept at what you do... and looks like you do it a lot! cool understated delivery... some guy whispering out of the shadows... very New York.............. sorta like sittin on the bus between Lou Reed an Tom Verlaine... ALIEN TELEGRAPH

(a review from swrecords) MARK KRISCHAK / PSALM59 Very much escape the cancerous lemming factor that tries to grind us all to a pulp from cradle to grave. It's like being born a Kennedy. Your future, life and death has been written before you've shat your first diaper. I dig this s*!@! It's wet, desperate, forthright and dark. Praying to a bloody christ , warm and heaving with a roman still in view. I can't honestly say I know what emo means, but I dig it. http://swrecords.net
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(a few from garageband.com) the vocals help create the mystery, nothing is overbearing...good song the synth/guitar sounds in the background kind of overtake the whole verse but i like them. original stuff. I like where you are headed here. The intro was interesting. The song itself is really good. I'm a sucker for moody song like this. I would like to hear the vocals a little better, but otherwise, the song itself it terrific. Very low-key and dark.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hey mark! hows it goin?! nice beginning, the vocals are perfectly suited for the mood of this piece, very complimentary! i like the guitar wail in the back. you can barely hear it, but it makes the point of distance. lots of stuff creeping in and out there in the back. love that kind of stuff. way to go! keep rockin, and send me more when you get it up! thanks for the experience! skyline fracture
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Mark, I found your music to be very interesting. I thought it had this kind of apocoliptic/spooky feel to it with the preachy style vocals and guitar in the back ground. It was really fun to listen to it and also hard not to listen to it at the same time. Like watching a scary movie, knowing your going to get the crap scared out of you, but not wanting to stop. When listening closely you have many layer'a to it. Cool work man. I like!!! Bad Candie
